Mount Recyclemore beats 1,800 entries to pick up Europe's biggest PR prize
It was a big night for us last night at this year's EMEA Sabre Awards. After scooping awards for the Best Cause-Related Marketing and Best E-Commerce Campaign, our Mount Recyclemore work with musicMagpie beat 1,800 to win the night's most prestigious award - the Platinum SABRE Award for Best in Show.
We can't quite believe it ourselves. Thank you to all of the judges on this year's panel.
“What the judges saw was a classic earned media idea — bold and creative and impactful — that drew attention to a very real, under-appreciated problem, and ultimately attracted the attention of large swathes of the UK population,” says Paul Holmes, chair of the SABRE judges. “As a result, more than 38% of all trade-ins at musicMagpie over the ensuing month were first-time users of the service, a massive boost for the business.”
