Fanclub has been supporting fully circular children’s clothing marketplace, dotte, in its quest to offer parents an easy way to buy and resell pre-loved items. Through its Resale Collective, dotte hopes to encourage its community to continue purchasing from sustainable fashion brands while keeping their children’s’ outgrown clothing in circulation, ultimately helping to slow fashion down.
Armed with our own research for dotte which found that 183.6 million items of children’s clothing are thrown into landfill every year, we have been spreading the news about theResale Collective including announcing that M&S Kidswear had become the first major retailer to join the marketplace’s collective.
Working alongside the M&S press office, evaluation from Coverage book found the announcement achieved an average DA of 66, with at least 10 articles including link backs and estimated just under a million lifetime views of coverage, based on audience reach & engagement rate on social.
Since the announcement dotte has gone onto complete a successful funding round on seedrs which will allow them to continue to grow their peer-to-peer marketplace offering parents an easy way to buy and resell pre-loved items.
